Posa has earned himself more vote of confidence after he secured the presidency of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) during the weekend.
The Borneo Post reports that Limbang Football Association President (LFA) Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail as saying that he believes Posa and the new FAS exco has what it takes to bring up football in Sarawak.
Abdul Rahman who is also the State Assemblyman for Bukit Kota was also quoted by the daily as saying that LFA would always support FAS’s effort in improving the number one sport, adding that LFA would be behind FAS through thick and thin.
According to the report, Abdul Rahman admitted that FAS now has an uphill task to improve football in Sarawak.
Posa won the Presidency of FAS unchallenged over the weekend, with almost 80% of the new management of FAS being someone new to their respective jobs.
