We have learned that Kwon Jun (photo) has left Kuching, hence leaving Ivan Fatic as the only foreign player on trial for now.
Sources have revealed that Ivan stands a good chance to be signed provided a contract can be obtained and agreed upon within the next few weeks, if another foreign import, Ilija Spasojevic fails in his bid to impress Robert via a trial this week. Another unknown Cameroonian is expected to also come to get himself a spot with the Crocs.
In fact, another source to us has also revealed that Ivan has so far impressed Robert Alberts with his versatility and this could well see him fit for Sarawak’s ambition in 2015.
Regardless however, we also have word that Ivan might not be too fond of Kuching which is less lively then the former cities he has played in France, and FAS has also yet to finalize their release deal with out going striker Muamer Salibasic so far.
With Muamer’s status still very much in limbo, Sarawak FA will not be able to sign a new foreign player just yet.
