Not ‘King’ Enough for Sarawak

Hopeful youngster Ben King has so far not impressed Robert Albert after the Sarawak head coach commented that he was disappointed with the performances given by the youngster during the Sarawak versus KL SPA friendly match last week.

According to Robert Alberts, Ben King has so far only showed he is as good as other local players, and that if Sarawak were to sign him, he would need to be extraordinarily better than the local players, especially since Sarawak would need to go through the a lot of immigration procedures to sign the English born player.

Ben King who is a friend of former Sarawak player Junior Eldstal has previously failed to impress JDT to sign him, and he is currently trying his luck at Sarawak FA as recommended by Junior himself.

It was reported in local dailies that Ben was seen a replacement Ramesh Lai, but with his poor performance last Wednesday, it is likely that he might not be drafted into the Sarawak squad in April.
