David Usop was quoted by the Borneo Post as saying that the Crocs are awaiting a player from Bosnia to turn up for the trails in coming days, prompting some fans to speculate if Muamer Salibasic is on his way back to Stadium Negeri.
Muamer is no stranger to the football scene in Malaysia, and Sarawak as he helped the Crocs lift the Liga Premier title back in 2013.
The player, much loved by local Sarawak fans, was however asked to leave after he struck a long term injury.
But that wasn’t the end of Muamer, who fans loved to called ‘Mume’.
Last season, Mume signed for Liga Premier side, Sabah FA, and was reported to have scored seven goals from 15 appearances by Wikipedia.
His contract with Sabah is however rumoured to be over, and Mume is likely on the look out for an opportunity to return to the Crocs, which he deemed as a great club to play for.
Shall Mume return to Sarawak in the coming season, it will definitely be a welcomed returned for the one of Sarawak’s best strikers.
