Muamer asked to apologize for ‘harsh remarks’

Muamer Salibasic (photo) has came under the spot light for the wrong reasons.

The Bornian striker who recently recovered from his long term injury has been asked by Kelantan player Fitri Omar to apologize to him over an alleged remark made by Muamer during the Kelantan vs Sarawak match in Kota Bharu last Friday. The report was carried out by Utusan Malaysia.

According to Fitri, Muamer made a harsh remark about Fitri’s mother during and after the game, as he said a complaint has been made, although there is lack of proof.

The incident after the final whistle was televised live on ASTRO, with those watching seeing Fitri rushing to Muamer upon the final whistle, and had to be calmed down by Kelantan officers.

The match saw Sarawak end an eight year win-less streak against Kelantan by recording a 1-0 victory.
