There is a massive shake up in the coming Kuala Lumpur team with the city boys said to be only retaining 10 players for the coming season.
According to reports, their import players like Diego Inostroza, Jonathan Zorilla and Morro have also been released, with local star players such as Rashid Aya, Halim Zainal and, A. Thamil Arasu, also shown the door.
Kuala Lumpur revealed that they intend to fill their import quota with a defender from the ASEAN region while other positions would likely be filled by South Americans from football nation Argentina.
According to Astro Arena, Kuala Lumpur’s main target next season is to get back to top flight football, saying that they had failed to reach the target this season, and aim to do just that next year.
Kuala Lumpur had also signed fast winger Ashri Chuchu for the coming season.
