Sarawak’s Sports Minister, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, was quoted as saying that he feels the current management of a certain football team is being irresponsible.
The minister was quoted as saying such words by SuaraSarawak.
According to Karim, ones salary must be paid to avoid any dissatisfaction.
“Personally, I feel the team’s management is being irresponsible.” Karim was quoted as saying by Suara Sarawak.
“If there is a salary that must be paid, it must be paid. If it’s not paid, it will cause dissatisfaction.” he added.
The minister also promised that the Sarawak government will try to solve the problem as he said the government doesn’t want Sarawak’s name to be tarnished.
Karim also stated that Sarawak’s Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, is also displeased with the news and the matter was brought up during the recent Sarawak Cabinet meeting.
