Lea Sports Centre (LSC) is organizing a logo design competition for the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS). The logo design competition ends this 1st September with a cash prize of RM1000 up for grabs.
According to the terms and conditions of the competition, the logo must be bold and energetic, and must have the words ‘Persatuan Bolasepak Sarawak’. More details can be found on the poster below:
For us at SarawakCrocs.com, this might be the first indication that Sarawak is heading towards privatization, although we are baffled why there is a need to include the word ‘association (persatuan)’ when professional clubs abroad do not have such word in their name.
Nonetheless, it will be exciting to see what logo will be chosen as the winning prize but it is our hope no one will submit our logo for the competition because Sarawak deserves an original logo, and not something copied from another place.
