David Usop’s men showed great character tonight as they held Felda United at Stadium Tun Razak in Bandar Jengka, Pahang.
Playing on Tun Razak’s synthetic field, similar to their usual training ground at Padang C Stadium Negeri, the Crocs took full advantage of a ten minute madness with youngsters Tommy Mawat, Nur Shamie Iszuan and Gilmar Filho cancelling out Felda’s Gilberto opening goal in the 19th minute of play.
Tommy equalized the score for Sarawak in the 23rd minute, before Shamie put the visiting Crocs aheqd in the 39th. Brazilian Gilmar curved in a brilliant free kick just before half time.
After the breather, Felda United clawed their closer to the Croc’s lead via a goal from Zah Rahan in the 52nd minute.
In the dying minutes of the game, Felda’s Lutfulla scored the much waited equalizer, killing Sarawak’s hopes of bringing home the full points for the night.
