Perhaps one of the best local strikers Sarawak ever had, Zamri Morshidi is now without a contract after the Sarawak FA management decided not to offer him an contract extension. His injury has been cited as the main reason behind such move, although Zamri himself has admitted that he is now fit to play after such a long lay off.
The 31-year old player from Kuching is a product of the Sarawak youth program and played most of his carrier with the Crocs.
Zamri, which has been reported to have signed a contract with MOF FC, has said on his Facebook that he intends to play for a couple more years despite the fact he would not be donning his preferred colours anymore.
The striker which spent most of his 2014 season watching the team from the sidelines, started his career with the Sarawak President Cup in 2003, before making his debut at the senior squad in 2005.
He briefly migrated to PKNS FC in 2013, but returned to the Crocs to help the team secure promotion to the Super League with an undefeated record.
To Zamri, thank you and we wish you the best in your future undertaking.
