Kuching FA started their pre-season campaign by trashing local side Rhino FC 12-0 yesterday.
The one sided match saw Kuching show little mercy towards the amateur side as they ran riots in the Rhino half, and dominated much of the match.
The match was watched by about 100 fans, signalling growing local support for the local community based club.
Kuching will play in the third tier league of the Liga Malaysia this season, with aim to gain promotion next season.
They have signed some very experienced players with Joseph Kalang Tie also with the team.
It is reported before that Kuching is also considering an import player.
Kuching will continue their pre-season preparations by travelling to Lundu this 12 January to meet local side Lundu FA at Stadium Mini Lundu.
