Junior was previously dropped from Kim Swee’s squad after he opted to stay with the Crocs to win the Premier League title. He has since seen his name left out from the 15-men squad named for the World University Games.

Nonetheless, it seems that mother luck is on Junior and Kim Swee’s side as the organizing committee of the games had decided to allow the Malaysians to bring in reinforcements for a squad which currenly only boast of 13 players, thanks to two suspensions obtained during the first game.

Both Junior and Nazri are expected to be in Kazan this coming 10 July, and are largely expected put to the litmus test immediately.
