After not playing for the full 90-minutes against Terengganu FC II, and also failing to make an appearance against Kuantan FA due to technical problems, Sarawak FA’s import defender Kim Chi-Gon is set to play the full 90 minutes.
According to news reports from local dailies, Sarawak FA Assistant Coach, Pengiran Bala had confirmed that the player was withdrawn from the Terengganu FC II game as he was not match fit.
Bala, which was quoted by Utusan Borneo, said that Chi-Gon just signed for the Crocs recently and therefore needs time to adapt to the weather and playing style of Sarawak FA. This is Chi-Gon’s first outing in a South East Asia football team, after playing many years with Korean side Ulsan.
In today’s Utusan Borneo, it was nonetheless reported that Sarawak FA Team Manager, Abdul Wahab had confirmed that the South Korean is fully fit and is roaring to go when the Crocs take on Felcra FC at Stadium Negeri later this evening.
The Crocs are set to go all out to ensure they collect the full three points at Stadium Negeri at 4:15PM later, enabling them to jump to the top of the Liga Premier if they do so.
