Things are going well for youngster Rodney Celvin after K Rajagobal admitted that he is somewhat ‘a fan’ of the Kampung Rayang, Serian lad.
The 20-year old defender, known among friends as ‘Bonai’, was drafted into the Crocs this season as a back-up to main defence players.
However, the hard tackling defender is slowly giving his seniors a good run for money as he has caught the attention of many fans, including K Rajagobal himself.
According to Rajagobal, he was impressed by the maturity and improvement shown by Rodney, and hoped that more youngsters currently in the Sarawak squad, would show similar traits.
Rajagobal also said that he will continue to give his young players a chance to play, with hope that they would eventually mature into better players.
