The management of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has come under heavy criticism, with a former foreign player, claiming that the management “lies and provides “unfulfilled promises”.

The foreign player, identified as Demerson Bruno Costa, made such claim on a local Sarawak football fan site.

According to the former defender of Sarawak FA, the FAS management “don’t pay the right salaries and don’t respect the players and anyone”, adding that he feels this is “not professional football”.

Demerson further said that he has waited for a long time to speak out, and that the Sarawak football fans deserve better.

Demerson’s comments came after FAS General Secertary Razali Dolhan claimed that Sarawakian youngster Rodney Celvin (also known as Bonai) wasn’t professional to leave the Crocs with a binding agreement which he had signed recently.

Well, we do not want to elaborate about what Demerson said, but certainly such serious allegations need to be addressed if there is any truth.

For your information, Demerson played with Sarawak last season, and was one of the 11 players that left the Crocs at the end of the season.  He is now a new signing at Bali United in Indonesia.

  1. Ada benarnya apa yg dikatakan oleh Bruno Costa. Fas tak profesional..fas sentiasa betul..fas pantang ditegur. Fas kena ingat diaorang main bkn utk suka2. Mereka pemain profesional..bola sepak adalah periuk nasi mereka. Kalau mcm ni cara pengurusan fas..bola sepak sarawak takkan kemana

  3. As we had all known before, we do hope that FAS themselves dont make the same kinds of mistakes as the previous predecessors did in the past. For fellow muslims who r mostly made the core team.of the management…..do remember the word AMANAH in your daily management arrangements
