KAFA says they have never heard anything from Sarawak

The controversy surrounding the signing of Syahrul Azwari is heating up with Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) claiming that they did not get any formal request or documents in regards to the transfer of Syahrul to Sarawak.

According to KAFA’s General Secretary Datuk Ismail Md Noor, Sarawak Football Association (FAS) never called or even sent them a letter in regards to the issue, and that he is baffled by what FAS claims to be ‘the proper channel.

Ismail further added that his club had also offered Syahrul an increased of salary beyond what is written in the terms of his release from Harimau Muda, but is disappointed that the player had decided to join Sarawak instead.

Ismail also said that he had advised Syahrul about signing for Sarawak and that KAFA is disappointed that they are yet again dealing with an issue which seems to a yearly occurrence to the club.
