4 JULY – The real litmus test for David Usop’s men begins tonight as the Crocs are set to take on cash rich and football power Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) FC at Larkin tonight.
Confidence is running high in the Bujang Senang camp following the overdue win against Kelantan FA in the Liga Super last weekend, and David is said to be keen to replicate such success in Larkin tonight.
David was also quoted by Utusan Borneo as saying that the win has given the fans of Sarawak FA a reason to believe and support his side as they march into the first game of the Piala Malaysia.
The odds however are highly against David and his men tonight as the Crocs have never won against JDT in any competition since the Johor based football team rebranded itself from Johor FC to JDT FC in 2013, with JDT winning seven out of the nine times they went head to head with each other.
Comments on social media also reveal that Sarawak FA fans are realistic over their changes with JDT FC, but our poll on twitter does reveal that they are hopeful that Sarawak can bring home the full three full points.
