Both Azizan Saperi (photo) and Zamri Morshidi are said to have been released by Sarawak due to their pending injuries.
According to a local newspaper, both local Sarawakians had to be released as they have failed to return back to fitness with the pre-season campaign for the Crocs very much gearing up.
The newspaper even quoted Sarawak’s assistant coach David Usop whom was quoted as saying “This is football, and we can’t always be on our best form”.
The news confirms Zamri’s recent outburst on social media when he hinted retirement, despite the fact that he has been working hard to get fit.
With both Azizan and Zamri out of the 2015 team, Sarawak will be looking to either draft in new local players, or bring in more local imports before the registration date for players closes.
