Former Sarawak FA player, Gilmar Silva has scored his debut goal for his new club SER Caxias, as he makes his return to the Brazilian League.
The 30 year old striker put two goals past Gremio to help his side win 2-1 in the Campeonato Gaúcho Série A1.
It is understood that Gilmar had agreed on a one year deal with his new club.
Prior to his return to Brazil, Gilmar previously played for Kelantan FA in Malaysia, and then the Crocs where he scored five goals from 15 matches.
Gilmar’s contract with Sarawak FA was not renewed after his one year stint with Sarawak FA as the new management of Sarawak FA decided to make major changes in the team, including terminating almost all non-Sarawakian players.
