Frustrated Joseph steals the show

A clearly frustrated Joseph Kalang Tie stole the show last night at half time when he decided to stay on the substitute bench during the break, instead of walking into the dressing room for the half time briefing.

Joseph was the sacrifice Sarawak had to make when the Crocs went down to three men in defence following Ramesh Lai’s red card in the first half.

Sarawak head coach, Robert Alberts opted to substitute Joseph for Mazwandy Zakeria, a move which is believe didn’t go well with the Miri born player whom is believed to have wanted to contribute more in the game.

Fans at the stands saw Joseph giving negative body language to advances by Robert whom tried to calm him down after the half time talk, but it is not clear what was uttered by both men.

The decision of Robert Alberts to take out Joseph was taken with mixed reactions by fans with some for the move, and others backing Joseph to stay on the pitch.

Nonetheless, Sarawak won the game last night despite playing over 50 minutes with only 10 men.
