Four players out as Crocs visit Perak FA this Friday

Sarawak will need to re-strategize as four of their key players will be out for this coming Friday’s clash against Perak.

According to a local daily, Fadzley Rahim (photo) will miss out on the game due to him tying the knot, while Joseph Kalang and Rashid Aya would be suspended.

But the bad news also comes with good news as the absence of these key player will allow other players to step up and prove their worth to Robert Alberts whom has not been keen to field them, despite him saying that his side now has enough depth.

Sani Anuar is expected to return to his usual goalkeeping duties with Fadzley away, while Rashid Aya’s suspension would likely see Hassan Mohammad step into his favourite position as a flanker. Aside from Hassan, national player Ashri Chuchu, whom has surprisingly been left out of Robert’s tactics, would be more than ready to step up if given the nod.

As for Joseph’s position which is more of a supporting forward, Roberts has Ryan Griffith, Muamer Salibasic and S Chanturu, all able to fill in his role, with Akmal Rizal or Zamri Morshidi (currently not 100% fit) able to fit as a striker.  It was reported by a local daily that Robert does prefer dictative midfielder Mohd Lot to replace Joseph.

Regardless of the outcome, the absence of Sarawak’s key four players is not expected to disrupt Sarawak’s winning ways against Perak, but instead give the other players a chance to prove themselves.

Another player out is Gabor Gyepes who is nursing a long term injury.
