National player, and also former Sarawak player, Safee Sali has left the riches of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) to join PKNS FC for the new season.
The contract between the former Crocs was concluded recently, with PKNS President, Siti Zubaidah Abdul Jabar, announcing their latest coup at a press conference.
PKNS booked an automatic promotion to the Liga Super next season after finishing second in the Liga Premier, and they have made it clear that they are aiming to secure at least one silverware next season.
To reach such goals, they have signed Malaysian football household names such as Azmi Muslim (Selangor), Affizee Mamat (Terengganu), Fauzan Dzulkifli (Pulau Pinang), S Sivanesan (FELDA United), Khyril Muhymeen (PJ Rangers), while retaining their three imports Patrik Ronaldinho, Gonzalo Soto and Matias Hadwa.
Aside from Safee, two more former Sarawak player, K Gurusamy and Bobby Gonzales, had also penned a contract with PKNS FC.
