Sarawak’s former striker, Ndumba Makache has joined the Panthers.
In a recent Facebook post, Penang FA confirmed this by sharing photos of the contract signing ceremony.
Also joining Penang are Julian Battaro from Argentina, and Sebastien Thuriere from Haiti.
Penang also confirmed they are retaining the services of Korean player Kang Seung Jo.
After playing for Sarawak, Makache played with Perlis FA and Australia’s South Melbourne where he scored eight goals according to Wikipedia.
Known for his deadly finish, the 26 year old striker scored 12 times for Sarawak and was considered one of Sarawak’s best foreign strikers.
His move to Penang is a definite coup for the islanders which are hoping for promotion in 2020.
