Despite rumours of a new head coach, Kuching City FC today confirmed that their match versus Kedah Darul Aman FC will still be taken care of Firdaus Morshidi.
Firdaus is currently the interim head coach for the Cats and has one draw on his record with the club to show off for now.
Despite confirming the head coach for the up-coming Liga Super match, Kuching City also gave a fair warning that the up-coming match will not be easy.
“The second match by caretaker head coach Firdaus Morshidi. A difficult task as our opponent is third in the Liga Super 2023” the club stated on their social media post.
This may be Firdaus’s only chance to show what he has got as head coach this season as Firdaus is expected to immediately hand over the task at hand to the new coach once the formalities of appointing a new head coach is completed by the Cats management.
In case you didn’t know, Kuching City will play Kedah at Stadium Negeri on the 29th of July 2023.
