Final Liga Super 2016 matches to start at the same time

The final Liga Super match this Saturday will start at the same time. The move which wasn’t a new decision by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), would see all matches, including the one in Kuching, played at 9PM.

Previously, matches in Kuching were played 45 minutes earlier with matches started at 8:15PM.

Based on what SarawakCrocs understands, the move to synchronize all Liga Super match kick off for the final week of the season was decided to curb match fixing by bookies, which have known to have influence on match results.

While the champion for this season’s Liga Super has been decided, the relegation battle of the Liga Super is intensely exciting given the fact that all five team at the bottom end of the league can still be relegated, with several teams such as Sarawak, PDRM and Pahang having better odds to stay in the Liga Super.

Such close odds however are a bookie magnet, and with several popular sports betting sites also offering interesting odds for punters, the tendency for bookies to try to influence the results is great.
