The said meeting between Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) and football fan groups of Sarawak ended today with FAS said to have offered to pay Sarawak football fan groups for all item removed or damaged at Stadium Negeri.
The move is believed to be a compromise over what several group of fans claim to be a sabotage move which saw the ‘capo stand’ being removed from Stadium Negeri recently. It is understood that the stands were removed by appointed contractors which are not under FAS.
According to an informant of SarawakCrocs.com, FAS however appealed that the fan groups do not play flares, firecrackers and other illegal items in the stadium and requested these fan groups to behave accordingly so that the matches at Stadium Negeri go on without any untoward incidents.
From what we could gather, the meeting was attended by the FAS president himself, Datu Sudarsono, with a representative from the city police force also joining the meeting.
