The National Futsal League (LFK), which was initially scheduled to be held in March or April but postponed, will now be held in January next year 2017.
Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee Chairman Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi assured the LFK would be held as scheduled.
It was revealed by Mohd Yusoff that the LFK couldn’t take off this year as Felda had withdrew as a sponsor, and FAM needed to find funding for the league.
Mohd Yusoff further stated that the league nonetheless will still go on in Januray 2017, even if no new sponsor comes in by January 2017.
It is understood that FAM would sponsor the LFK if no sponsor comes forward to fund the LFK.
