The Crocs received good news from the doctors yesterday when they cleared Gabor Gyepes for the match against Sime Darby this coming Saturday. Gabor previously incurred a hamstring injury during the Sarawak-ATM FA match in Stadium Negeri.
According to a report carried out by Utusan Borneo, Robert Alberts himself made the confirmation with the Dutch coach looking relieved that he has his best defender back with the team after a long three weeks lay-off due to injury.
However, Robert was quick to also point out that his regular local defenders which consist of Ronny Harun, Hairol Mokhtar, Mafry Balang, Ramesh Lai and Mazwandy Zakeria were always ready and are up to the needed quality shall Gabor was not able to be fielded in time.
Nonetheless, the report said that Rovert however liked the option of having Gabor in his line-up as the Hungarian gives his team a physical presence.
The Crocs are set to pick where they left off in the league this Saturday as they entertain Sime Darby at the stadium dubbed ‘the away home’ due to the massive number of Sarawak supporters.
The game would be televised live over RTM1, and also tweeted live over @SarawakCrocs.
