The Crocs are all set to end their 2016 football season without a single live telecast from their home stadium, Stadium Negeri.
This fact would surely disappoint away fans of the Crocs as some were hoping their last game at Stadium Negeri against PDRM would be televised live by Media Prima, the station that owns TV rights to the Malaysia League.
According to information released by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), Kedah and Felda United would have their game televised, with another game being the match from Stadium Bandaraya.
Based on statistics collected by SarawakCrocs, the Crocs were more fortunate in terms of getting live telecast when playing away, given the fact they had three games televised live by Media Prima.
It is likely that Media Prima didn’t even consider to televise any of Sarawak’s home games, given the known fact that it would have to bear additional cost, in comparison to covering games in West Malaysia.
Nonetheless, some fans would likely not want to dwell on the additional cost Media Prima would have to bear, and simply blame the TV station for being not fair for their lack of effort in covering games throughout Malaysia.
