Although Sarawak head coach David Usop has claimed he is not in a hurry to sign Teah Dennis, reports yesterday suggest that the Crocs have finally decided to sign the Liberian defender.
The news which was leaked by football page Sarawak SuperCrocs says the defender has been signed on a six month contract, giving him an opportunity to help the the Crocs until the 2016 season ends.
Teah’s stay with Sarawak will be decided again at the end of the season, in which it is understood a strong performance by the Liberian captain this season, would seal him a longer contract next year.
The signing of Teah has been largely expected after another two players, Vladimir Cardoba and Andrei Cardos failed to impress David for a chance to prove their worth at the Sarawak warm up match in Selangor last week.
A few other unknown foreign players that also came for trial also left without even having their name leaked.
