Matias Conti will not be joining Sarawak after all after it was confirmed that he will stay with Pahang for the coming season.
The news was confirmed by Astro anchor Dayang Zainatull Aqma who tweeted the information to us.
Pahang whom just won the Malaysia Cup twice in a row also did a double by winning the FA Cup, with Matias leading the way by creating chances and scoring goals for the Elephants.
Matias was highly rumoured to join the Crocs with Robert Alberts himself saying he is keen to sign the player.
However, with Matias performing well with the Elephants, a move to Kuching seems highly unlikely, and Pahang’s recent title as champions of the Malaysia Cup had probably given Pahang a good reason to keep Matias with them.
