Unconfirmed sources on social media have said that the Crown Prince of Johor has confirmed that Sarawak ace player S Chanturu will join JDT next season.
The news was revealed by page “Johor Darul Takzim FC” which says it is the unofficial page for JDT.
Chanturu has admitted he has been approached by another team for next season, and was offered a lucrative contract.
He however said that he was still undecided over his future and would seek to talk to his current team management before making any decisions official.
UPDATED: 11/9/2014, 8:34AM: The news is confirmed with a local paper (Harian Metro) confirming that TMJ has indeed signed S Chanturu for next season. TMJ was reported to be impressed by Chanturu’s discipline on the pitch.
