Although recently named Malaysia’s most promising player of 2013, Junior Eldstal remained humble when we approached him for a quick interview.
One of our top questions to him was about if he thinks Sarawak FA is prepared for the new season, in which the team would be playing at the highest level of football in Malaysia.
Junior revealed to us his optimism of the coming season as he said “We will always be ready for the news season because we have a great management and coach with us hence making us a great team!”
He further added that “We are a team to watch and Stadium Negeri is our home their(our opponents) hell! Let’s show Malaysia what we can do!”
Junior also admitted that he is only able to stretch for now, as he needs to be extra careful after the backbone surgery he recently had. Nonetheless, the young midfielder is hoping that he will have a speedy recovery for and be fully fit to challenge for a spot in the team by February 2014.
