Sabah FC captain, Baddrol Bakhtiar will play his last match for the Rhinos tonight as it was confirmed that the Kedah born player will leave Sabah FC.
Sabah FC in a statement said that they respected Baddrol’s wishes and the reason for his departure will be announced in due time.
The club also gave acknowledgement towards the skipper who they regards as already a legend in the club.
Baddrol made 41 appearances with Sabah FC and scored 13 goals during his stint in Likas.
The 35 year old player joined Sabah in 2021 and is key towards the good league run by the club in the Liga Malaysia.
While Baddrol’s next move is not confirmed yet, rumours are strong that the player has been approached to join and represent a political party in the coming State Elections in Kedah.
