An appeal by the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has allowed football fans of Sarawak to watch Sarawak play Kedah live in front of their eyes this coming Saturday.
According to an official announcement by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), the Crocs will only need to play behind closed doors for two games which are scheduled on 9 April and the 23 April, against T-Team (Terengganu FC II) and Pahang FC respectively.
This means that fans of the Crocs can watch their favourite team play against Kedah FA this coming Saturday at Stadium Negeri.
Many fans had hoped that FAM would yet again give the Crocs some leniency like what happened in 2013 and 2015, but it looks like FAM is sticking with their decision to fine FAS RM25,000 and order the Crocs to play in an empty stadium.
FAS were fined after a group of supporters became rowdy after the Sarawak versus Felda United game last month.
