Sarawak head coach Robert Alberts was quoted by a local daily today to have said that he would prefer if Junior Eldstal was only required to report for national duty on a later date as the young Crocs player is needed to help the team secure the Premier League title this season.
Junior was asked to report on the 21st of June, removing him automatically from crucial games against Kuala Lumpur and Sabah.
In the report, Alberts was also quoted as saying that Junior is excited with the opportunity to represent his country, but was also very keen to play with his teammates as the Crocs battle for the league title.
Junior is a new signing at Stadium Negeri, but his good passing ability has since caught the attention of many, including Harimau Muda head coach Ong Kim Swee which eventually decided to give him a try.
