Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) through its official Facebook page has yet again denied that they are interested in obtaining the services of Malaysia’s most promising player Junior Eldstal.
According to their official facebook page, the news is mere rumours and that no one has either approached nor contacted Junior to play for any team under Persatuan Bolasepak Negeri Johor (PBNJ); namely JDT and JDT II.
The page further stressed that the case is sensitive particularly since the Malaysia FA (FAM) is close to have its election, and such rumour could strain relations. PBNJ President, the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Idris Ibni Sultan Ibrahim Ismail is one of the three candidates eyeing for the presidency post in FAM, and he is said to be the ‘people choice’ among many Malaysian football fans to be president.
This is the second time JDT has denied wanting to approach Junior, and we can’t help to wonder why Junior’s name is always linked to JDT.
Despite JDT’s denial of their interest over Junior, we can’t help but wonder how such news got up twice, especially with our very own Mr Kopi citing he has a very ‘credible source’.
Regardless, the 2015 transfer window will be an interesting one as all eyes be glued to who JDT will sign for their new season.
For us at SarawakCrocs.com, we can’t help but think of the Malay proverb which says “Kalau tiada angin, masakan pokok bergoyang”.
