Rumours have surfaced that the Crocs have decided to axe the services of Teah Baysah Dennis from the team next season.
It is said that Teah obtained a long term injury recently, and will not be able to recover for the new season.
No concrete word about Teah’s departure has however been revealed by the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) up to now, prompting speculations the rumours may be untrue. It is however personally noted to us before the Sarawak pre-season Australian tour that Teah’s status in the team remains ‘on-hold’.
It was further said that Teah also didn’t make the pre-season tour in Australia, hence prompting many fans to query if the defender is still indeed in the plans of David Usop for the new season.
However, the arrival of Korean defender Kim Sung Hyun in Kuching for trials, does ring a tone about the current import slot filled by Teah, as David Usop has made it clear he is looking for a import striker.
Shall it be true that Teah had been released from his contract with Sarawak, this would mean that the Crocs would be looking to fill two more vacant spots available for a foreign player.
For the record, Teah was a mid-season signing by the Crocs to replace Italian commanding defender, Davide Grassi.
