Two Sarawak FA players have been nabbed by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) following allegations of match fixing which were mare by the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) recently.
According to SarawalVoice, the duo are said to be Sarawakians and are seasoned players, having played for Sarawak FA since the 2016 season.
The online portal further reported that the duo has been presented to court for a remand order to further investigate the case.
For now, all we know is what is reported by SarawakVoice, but the list of local Sarawak players whom had played with Sarawak FA since 2016 until now is thin, and it wouldn’t be difficult to identify those suspected of match fixing.
FAS issued a press release that they are investigating a match fixing scandal following the defeat to Felcra FC recently.
