Despite the season still at its infancy, problems related to squad harmony have been spotted within Sabah FA.
According to several social media sites familiar with the on-goings of the Rhinos, their new technical advisor, Mike Mulvey is having problems blending with Sabah FA as he is caught in between a current crisis involving out-of-favour Andrezinho of Brazil.
According to several Sabah FA related pages and websites, Andrezinho was barred from joining the team’s training and was seen jogging at the side of the pitch , away from the rest of his teams.
Andrezinho was purportedly released by Sabah FA at the beginning of the season, but he is still very much contracted to Sabah FA. The striker has told a few fans that he will continue to join Sabah’s training despite being barred from training as he has not received any black and white information that he is barred, and all instructions are merely verbal.
Our source tells us that Andrezinho has however obtained Sabah FA’s Supreme Council favour for a return to the club in April after they released Singaporean Fazrul Nawaz from the club early this season.
Nonetheless, it was reported to us by a Sabahan contact that the CEO and manager of Sabah FA, Datuk Goh Thian Chuan, doesn’t approve of the u-turn, vetoing the decision made by Sabah FA’s Supreme Council, hence making some of the members in the in the council unhappy.
We are monitoring the situation for now, but it looks like the April transfer window would be an interesting one.
