TMJ wants FAM to omit JDT players from future Malaysia squad

The Crown Prince of Johor (TMJ) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has asked the management of FAM to omit players of Johor Darul Ta’zim (TJD) for future Malaysian matches.

TMJ made the request after some fans blamed JDT players playing for Malaysia as the reason the Malaysian side was nonperforming, with the latest trashing by Palestine making these voices more.

Harimau Malaya, the nickname for the Malaysian national team consist of a majority of national players from JDT since the TMJ started taking over the helm of the Johor Football Association. The Crown Prince, using his riches, pumped massive amounts of money to the club, and saw the club attracting top names in Malaysian football.

In the last game against Palestine, six JDT players featured in the national team which saw the nation crumble 6-0 to the visiting side.
