KUCHING: Bobby Gonzales was the toast of his team after having scored four goals for the Crocs in their Premier League match against UiTM FC held at UiTM Stadium, Shah Alam yesterday.
Sarawak thumped the college boys 5-3 with Bobby scoring the first goal in the 18th minute and another two minutes later.
UiTM FC were playing defensively for a good part of the first half but the plan backfired with Bobby again scoring four minutes before the breather and sending the signal that the visitors are craving for more goals.
During the second half, Zamri Morshidi added more pain to the home team after he scored in the 74th minute but it was destined to be Bobby’s day when he scored the hat-trick four minutes later.
Despite being hammered with five goals, UiTM did all their best to avoid a thrashing and they pulled one back via penalty in the 83rd minute.
UiTM’s Shafiq Mokhtar also scored another goal for his team four minutes later and his team went on to score another goal in the dying minutes of the game.
New import signing Muamer Salibasic only came in during the 83rd minute for Azizan Baba who has been superb during the match with his assists.
Apart from that another new player Junior Eldstal was also playing mainly in the midfield role.
