Korean second division football club Suwon FC is expected to come to Kuching next year.
The news was revealed by Fazzruddin Abdul Rahman, Vice President of Kuching Division Football Association (KDFA) in a news report carried out by Utusan Borneo.
According to Fazzruddin, Suwon FC would come to train in Kuching during the off season of the Korean League, in which the team would come to train in Kuching.
It was not mentioned when specifically the Korean side would come over to Kuching, but it is highly expected a friendly match will most likely be played when they are around, boosting not only football interest in Kuching, but also interest in Suwon FC itself.
Suwon FC is also expected to sign an MoU with Kuching FA in coming months to work together in developing football.
