SUKMA: Sabah’s futsal challenge end

Sabah’s futsal challenge at the Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) ended this morning after they were defeated 4-2 by Pulau Pinang in their final Group A match.

Sabahmen’s futsal which hadn’t been impressive in their SUKMA outing ended their SUKMA with zero point courtesy of four defeats, namely to Melaka (9-5), Terengganu (3-2), Wilayah Persekutuan (6-7) and Penang (4-2).

Despite bowing out of SUKMA Sarawak, Sabah futsal can be proud that they managed to score the most number of goals in Group A with 15 goals.

Meanwhile, the top four teams in Group A of SUKMA Sarawak futsal, namely Terengganu, Pulau Pinang, Wilayah Persekutuan and Melaka will enter the quarter finals as they wait for their opponents in Group B.

Group B had also confirmed their final four foor the quarter finals, but will still have a few more matches today to confirm their final group standings.

The teams that had qualified for the quarter finals in Grooup B are namely Selangor, Sarawak, Perak and Pahang, with Johor ending their campaign yesterday after the lost 4-1 to Sarawak.
