Sarawak captain and hardworking midfielder Sharol Saperi has called on fans to focus on the coming game against Kedah, as he hoped their (Sarawak FA) travel to Kedah will be fruitful.
He relayed the message through his Facebook account as he probably had hoped that the tension created by Johan and Ray of ERA FM would be eased.
Sarawak FA fans however have been rather unforgiving as they continue to mock the two radio announcers by saying that a team both deejays called ‘chicken brand’ has beaten a Super League champion.
The incident which was caused by both announcers demeaning Sarawak FA’s ability, has since sparked massive outrage among Sarawakians with politicians also jumping on the issue to gain popularity gains.
This has forced the management of ASTRO Radio to apologize profusely on the issue, which also included a public Facebook message, and a public announcement over ERA.FM morning show.
