The management of Sarawak FA (FAS) was quoted by newspaper Utusan Borneo, to be ready in their effort to appeal the recent FAM decision which imposed a fine of RM10,000 for flare misuse in Stadium Selayang.
According to the report, FAS has not received any letter on the fine from the national governing body, and has only heard about it from the media.
The report also claimed that FAS would send a letter of appeal once they have received the letter regarding the fine.
It was revealed this week on FAM’s official Facebook that FAS would be fined RM10,000 for flare burning and the disposal of flares in Selayang Stadium.
The fine has caused an uproar among Sarawak fans who believed that they have yet again been victimized by the national football body.
