With today being the last day for the registration of local players in the coming 2015 Malaysian League, Sarawak has opted to take their chances by signing former youngster Azizan Saperi back to the squad says Utusan Borneo.
Azizan would be the Sarawak’s 25th player in the squad list with the Crocs now having one more spot open after the FA of Malaysia decided to increase the number of players to be registered to 26.
Last season, Azizan hardly had any game time after he obtained an injury in training.
On a related note, according to Utusan Borneo, Ben King, a friend of Sarawak’s former player Junior Eldstal is now in Kuching with aim to fill in the vacancy.
The mix blooded defender had previously failed to impress Bojan Hodak at JDT, and is said to have followed Junior’s advice to try out for Sarawak.
Nonetheless, with today being the last date for player registration in the M-League, it is our belief that Ben King might be signed as Sarawak’s newest player when the transfer window reopens in April, provided the Crocs can go around his nationality issue which is prompted by the fact he holds a Brittish passport despite having a Malaysian mother.
