The Sarawak team came in full force to the Soccer Samba launch at Lea Sport Centre Sarawak Plaza today, much to the delight of their loving fans.
Hundreds of fans from different ages gathered to greet and take photos with the players of Sarawak with Junior Eldstal, Joseph Kalang and Fadzley Rahim a hit among the ladies. Also attending were the coaches of Sarawak FA including Robert Alberts himself.
The event which kicked off at 2PM also saw the Sarawak players and coaches entertain their fans with chit chat sessions, while some gave out autographs.
The Soccer Samba is held in collaboration with Lea Spots Centre, Sarawak FA, Shell, Panasonic, KFC and SEDC. Apart from the Gawai, the promotion also doubles as a promotion towards the coming FIFA World Cup which will be held in June.
