Sarawak player rating (vs Felda United)

PLAYER RATINGS:

Iqbal Suhaimi (GK) – 6/10
Iqbal had a quiet day really. There wasn’t much for him to do as the back line was solid. He did manage a few saves, but none of the saves were in dangerous play. Rating dropped due to the fact he failed to stop two soft goals, but he is not entirely to be blamed either.

Ronny Harun – 7/10
Hardworking through the night. Made numerous critical challenges, and went up to help the attacking team when possible.

Mohd Riduwan – 7/10
Looked very solid on the left back. Was hardworking and was always in position disabling Felda United any chance of using their flanks for the attack.

Davide Grassi – 7/10
He was hardworking and went up to assist attack at every corner, and was quick to fall back when needed. Can see him pouring his effort.

Rames Lai – 7/10
Reliable as usual, but age is taking a toll on his performances.

J Partiban – 4/10
Had his movement clipped. Couldn’t hold the ball for long and was largely ineffective.

Ashri Chuchu – 3/10
Had an awful match. Was almost non-existent in the match. Substituting him was the right decision.

K Gurusamy – 8/10
Our player of the game. Bossed the midfield. Tireless. Made accurate passes and was likely the only effective midfielder for the Crocs.

Junior A – 5/10
Hardworking but needs to improve on passing and dribbling. Reminds us of Vedran Muratovic. The solitary goal he got through a penalty doesn’t affect his rating.

Shreen Tambi – 3/10
Except for that one chance he took, Shreen was a passenger in the match. Hardly held the ball and the decision to substitute him for Ndumba Makeche in the second half was right.

Gilmar Jose – 5/10
Doesn’t show what the hype about him is all about just yet. We found him slow and incapable to hold the ball for long periods of time. While he wins most of his headers, Gilmar blew many goal scoring chances last night, which for us is not forgivable as a foreign striker. We do hope he improves because we believe he is better than what he showed last night.

Substitutes in:
Ndumba Makeche (For Shreen Tambi) – 7/10
Loved his pace and work rate on the field. Gave Felda Defenders a hard time. Should have started.

Dzulazlan Ibrahim (For Ashri Chuchu) – 5/10
Didn’t show much to shout about. Like Ashri, had a rather forgettable outing.

Mokh Noor Akmal (For Partiban) – No rating
Came in close to full time. Had some very good runs but his game time was to little to comment much.

TEAM RATING:

Defending and Goalkeeping – 6/10
Made two mistakes, and was severely punished by Felda United. Ronny and Davide needs to work on communication and their partnership.

Midfield – 3/10
Other midfielders were like passengers in the game and had a forgettable night. Only Gurusamy shined and was up to the mark.

Forward – 3/10
Ineffective, slow and didn’t seize scoring chances well. Needs to improve sharpness.
