Sarawak lose top goalkeeper to injury

Sarawak’s preparation for their first Super League game against Felda took a huge blow today after Fadzley Rahim is reported to be injured.

According to a source to SarawakCrocs.com (Mr Kopi), Fadzley would be out for one month after he dislocated his left finger during training. The same source said that the injury has cause Fadzley to also injured his nerve, which may see him out for quite sometime.

Fadzley has been struggling to be the first choice goalkeeper during Sarawak’s recent friendlies with Sarawak head coach Robert Alberts, more interested to play Iqbal Suhaimi between the post.

The injury towards Fadzley will only cement Iqbal’s position as Sarawak’s first choice goalkeeper, and pave way for senior goalkeeper Aidil Mohamad to play.

It is hoped however that Fadzley’s injury will not be serious, and that he would be back playing for Sarawak again soon.
